EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Imam-e-Rabbani shaykh Ahmed Farooqui Sirhindi Hazrat Mujaddid Alfsani RA  was an Islamic scholar. Who was born on 14 Shawwal 971H. in the vellage of sirhind in Punjab(INDIA). From an Ashraf family claiming descent from Caliph Hazrat Umar-e-Farooq(r.a),he recieved most of his early education from his father, Hazrat Shaykh 'Abd al-Ahad ra and memorised the Qur'an. He was sent to Sialkot,at present in PAKISTAN where he learned logic,philosophy and theology and read some advanced texts of tafsir and hadith before he return home.He eventually joined the Naqshbandi order through the Sufi missionary Shaykh muhammed Al-Baqi,and become a leading master of order.
